The Montana Green Building Program™ of Missoula (MGBP) is a program developed by the Missoula Building Industry Association (MBIA) in Montana and the national Green Building Initiative™ to promote and facilitate practical approaches to green construction.We are proud to be affiliated with the National Green Building Program and the NAHB (www.nahbgreen.org).

The MGBP serves as an education, marketing, and certification resource for the green building industry-to help build and sell energy efficient and environmentally sustainable homes or building-related products and services

Our program is based on the National Association of Home Builders Green Home Building Guidelines and the recently ANSI approved National Green Building Standard. The MGBP provides locally relevant green homebuilding guidelines and a rating system for green home certification.

MGBP also works to educate consumers-to help them understand green building and direct them to MGBP members and resources.
